HARAYA

What difference would it make if, in every woven accessory you buy, you get the opportunity to help others? If the idea appeals to you, we are so glad that you found us.

In Haraya, our ultimate goal is to deliver beauty through products that are both stylish and functional, all while giving back to the talented hands that wove them.

Hello there, I’m Jessica. Together with my husband Mark, we founded Haraya with the goal that going beyond creating fashion-worthy, Filipino-made woven products.

With degrees in interior design, art has always been a part of our passion. Our background developed in us an eye for handicrafts that seamlessly blend function and aesthetics.

We see this balance in handicrafts displayed online and in actual marketplaces. Both from small and big shops, we have seen how much people love these types of fashion trinkets.

In time, we realized something - the online marketplaces do not carry a lot of woven creations from the Philippines.

Despite the intricate charm of Filipino woven accessories, not everyone has access to them.

We aspire to include the traditional artisan communities in global market trends, extending their real sense of creativity and continue distributing the crafts and adding more traditional value.

The Inspiration Behind Haraya Woven Accessories

With the change, Haraya came to life.

Derived from the Filipino word which means “imagination,” we built a brand that transcends the ordinary and brings creativity into something tangible.

Through Haraya, we aim to offer a collection of handmade, woven handicrafts from the Philippines that compliment any style, preference, or fashion trademark.

Each woven wristlet, woven laptop sleeve, and unique handmade item are crafted by talented local artisans. The products we have here carry with them a piece of Filipino culture that has flowed through the years, and now continues through those who patronize woven products.

Beyond checking out all the boxes from the beauty and style checklist, Haraya is also the medium where more people around the globe can see firsthand the distinct features of products that are Pinoy-made.

…and for them to eventually realize why Filipino creativity is lauded in the world.

There’s magic in realizing that using only indigenous materials and impressive creativity, these local Filipino artisans can bring fashion-forward, functional pieces to life.

And yes, these local artisans are a big part of Haraya’s advocacy.
